Alex Grey is an artist, author, and teacher whose body of work places him at the forefront of the visionary art field. Grey’s art includes portrayals of psychedelic mystical experiences, featuring detailed representations of the human body and spiritual light. In 1996, Grey co-founded the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM) with his wife, artist Allyson Grey. CoSM is a non-profit and interfaith church. Today, CoSM exhibits Alex Grey’s work and the work of other visionary artists, and it operates as a space to foster a community that honors the practice of art as a spiritual path.
