In 2009, De Loenen founded ICEERS, a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming society’s relationship with psychoactive plants. Prior to founding ICEERS, De Loenen directed “Ibogaine: Right of Passage,” a 2004 documentary about the use of ibogaine for the treatment of opiate addiction.
